Trump’s Trifecta: Lose a War, Abandon the Hopeful, Make Obama Look Strong
Back in January, when the Iranian people took to the streets in yet another desperate cry for international support against their theocratic oppressors, and faced death by the thousands for their courage, Donald Trump, the world’s most powerful lying coward, took to social media, where he does all his brave fighting, to send a message to those risking everything on the streets of Tehran.
Iranian patriots, KEEP PROTESTING — TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!! Save the names of the killers and abusers. They will pay a big price. I have cancelled all meetings with Iranian Officials until the senseless killing of protestors STOPS. HELP IS ON ITS WAY.
“Help is on its way.”
Of course, that was January. This is June, and after months of death and destruction, costing billions of dollars in military expenditure and incalculable disruptions to the world’s economy, Donald Trump, who becomes conveniently “bored” of any fight the moment he realizes his empty bluster will not be enough to win it, has defended the surrender “deal” he hopes to sign this week to end the fighting by sounding a little, shall we say, less resolute about the Iranian regime and the fate of those protesters.
From the Wall Street Journal:
“As far as regime change, I never cared about regime change. This is the third group [of negotiators] we’ve dealt with, and this is the most rational group yet,” he said.
I do not believe Trump is merely changing his tune about his aims in this war as a matter of saving face. I take him at his word here, as I always do when he is expressing total disdain for the human race, human decency, or any semblance of moral rectitude. “I never cared about regime change.” That’s the whole story. He publicly urged Iranians to risk their lives in the streets on the promise that help was “on its way.” But in fact he never had a moment’s thought for their risks or their deaths. He was merely blustering to look tough for his million moron marchers back home. When push came to shove, he gave up, and those millions of Iranians whom he was encouraging, just six months ago, to continue putting their lives on the line on the premise that he, as President of the United States, would stand with them, were bluntly and unflinchingly abandoned as people of no consequence.
This is Donald Trump’s way, his modus operandi, his entire character and life story as embodied in every situation he involves himself in, and certainly in every facet of his presidency. Other people’s lives are toys and tools for his aggrandizement, fame, and enrichment. They have no other significance in his mind or his heart.

And now we will have the details of his great surrender “deal,” in which no one but Trump, the mullahs, and predictably Trump’s family and business associates, will stand to gain anything at all.
